The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service located 229km southwest of Rockhampton, is part of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Theodore is situated on the Leichhardt Highway between the junction of Castle Creek and the Dawson River.

About the role:

The purpose of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) role is to provide advanced clinical leadership and clinical expertise relevant to the speciality of Theodore Multipurpose Health Service. The Nurse Unit Manager role at Theodore will oversee the aged care portfolio, tracking three rural Banana sites, and ensuring alignment with aged care standards while facilitating accurate reporting.

About you:

• Mandatory qualification/s: Current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Post Graduate Leadership and Management qualifications will be highly regarded. A relevant postgraduate diploma or Master's degree is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.

Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 p.a. is comprised of:

• A hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
